Wilfred Cooper, Sr. has served on Jamboree’s advisory board since 2009 and currently serves on the Business Development Committee. Actively involved in the affordable housing industry since 1968, Will is the founder and Chairman of the Board of WNC & Associates, Inc., a Director of WNC Capital Corporation, and a general partner in some of the funds sponsored by WNC. A national tax credit investment company whose core business is sponsoring investments in affordable housing, WNC oversees more than 900 properties representing 45,000 affordable rental housing units.
Will is a life director of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and a Trustee of the National Association of Home Builders Build-Political Action Committee. Will is also a Life Trustee of the National Housing Conference and a co-founder and director of the California Housing Consortium.
Will believes in pushing for positive change at both the local and national levels. He has done work at the congressional level on tax law changes and has appeared as an expert witness before the House Ways & Means Committee, the Senate Banking Committee and the Farm Credit Association. Will graduated from Pomona College in 1956, and completed graduate studies at the University of Southern California.
